Major tech Analogue timer Set the current time: Rotate the dial with the arrow to the current time. Use the hand to adjust hours and minutes by turning it clockwise or counter-clockwise. Set ON/OFF periods: Push up the pins for the time periods you want the connected device to be OFF. Pull down the pins for the time periods you want the connected device to be ON. Since each pin represents 15 minutes, you will need to use at least two pins for each ON or OFF segment (e.g., for a full hour, you would use four pins). Set the switch mode: Use the switch on the timer (usually at the bottom left) to select the mode: AUTO: The timer operates based on the pins you have set. PERM ON: The device will stay permanently ON.
