I repaired some very poor quality winter boots, the rubber of which started to crumble in the middle of the sole, it was clear that regular rubber glue definitely wouldn't help. It seemed like a pretty difficult project. ChatGPT recommended this glue and it worked incredibly well. I let it dry for a few days and it does leave a shiny layer under the sole (if you use it anywhere other than under the sole, you have to take it into account), but for at least 3 weeks the glue layer has bent beautifully with the boot and doesn't let water through - it seems to have worked.
